The Fight Against Bee & Co. Continues

Their story
Victor and Gabe say they were approached by Bee & Co. salespeople who pressured them into transactions they didn't fully understand and never agreed to. By the time they and their families realized what had happened, thousands of dollars in charges had already been made in their names.
Stories like theirs are, unfortunately, not rare. People with disabilities are too often treated as easy targets: rushed through high-pressure sales pitches, talked over, and steered into decisions without the time, information, or support they need to make a real choice. When that happens, the harm goes beyond money. It chips away at a person's independence, their trust, and their sense of being treated with basic dignity.
Why we do this work
At Valley Legal Aid, our mission is to seek justice for people like Victor and Gabe, people who are often dehumanized and coerced into doing things they are not comfortable with. Everyone deserves to be treated fairly in the marketplace, and everyone deserves to be heard when that doesn't happen.
We are proud to stand beside Victor and Gabe, and we're grateful to them for having the courage to share their experience publicly. By speaking up, they are helping others recognize the warning signs and know that they don't have to face this alone.
We're also thankful to CBS LA for continuing to shine a light on this issue and for treating Victor and Gabe's story with the seriousness it deserves.
Has this happened to you?
If you or a loved one has experienced something similar with Bee & Co. or any other company, we want to hear from you. Signs to watch for include:
Charges you don't remember agreeing to
Pressure to sign or pay on the spot
Salespeople who dismissed your questions or wouldn't let you consult a family member or caregiver
Contracts or terms that were never clearly explained
Together, we can hold companies accountable and make sure people like Victor and Gabe are treated with the respect they deserve.
